Knowing what's going on through better monitoring
Eco-moni develops technology to provide structural and reliable insight into biodiversity. Not through snapshots or individual field visits, but through long-term, automated measurements that reveal what's actually happening in an area - day and night, season after season.
We combine sensor technology, AI, and data analysis into a single, integrated platform that supports ecologists, managers, and developers in making informed decisions about design, management, and nature development.
Our origins
Eco-moni originated at the intersection of science, technology, and entrepreneurship. Research into automatic species recognition and smart measurement setups fueled the need for solutions that were not only technically advanced but also practically applicable and scalable in the field.
That combination - scientific depth and operational robustness - remains at the heart of how we work.

How we work
We believe that biodiversity can only be properly understood by measuring changes over time. Therefore, we design measurement systems that:
long-term and consistent data collection
combine multiple signals (sound, image, presence, context)
be scalable across locations and years
cause minimal disturbance to the environment
We always start with a clear question and a well-thought-out measurement strategy. Only then do we add hardware, AI models, and dashboards. This way, we ensure that data isn't just collected but actually becomes meaningful.
Our role in the ecosystem
Eco-moni operates at the heart of the innovation and knowledge ecosystem, but always with a clear role. We are not a consultancy or a standalone technology supplier. We build and manage end-to-end measurement solutions: from sensors in the field to data interpretation.
Collaboration with knowledge institutions, site managers, and clients is essential - without becoming dependent on temporary programs or one-off projects. Continuity and quality are paramount.
Our team
Eco-moni is being built by a multidisciplinary team of engineers, researchers, and entrepreneurs. We share a common belief: that technology is only valuable if it leads to better understanding and better decisions.
